Researcher

If you find yourself immersed in a project, you might prefer to forget the rest of the world exists. This can be a great quality for a researcher. You’ll be tasked with investigating a topic, finding sources, and creating summaries. You can do this in silence and solitude, while still being rewarded financially. Researcher positions are available in a variety of industries. You may choose to specialize in one specific field or several fields of interest. If you’re interested in this line of work, you’ll likely need a bachelor’s degree. If you want to conduct research at a university, you also need a master’s degree.

Copywriter

If you find yourself drawn to the written word and prefer to do your work in solitude, you may be a natural copywriter. Copywriters are tasked with creating content for advertisements, product descriptions, websites, and more. They often work from home and spend their days in solitude and quiet. You may find work as an online freelance writer or for an established company.

Marketing analyst

If you enjoy the idea of creating a marketing strategy but hate the idea of talking to people, you might be a natural marketing analyst. If you want to work in a field where you can sit in solitude and use your analytical skills, you might want to consider becoming a data analyst. Data analysts use data and statistics to help companies make business and marketing decisions. You’ll likely work remotely and spend your days in solitude, crunching numbers and analyzing data.
